TERA supports cloud storage for a wide range of digital files, including documents, images, videos, audio files, and archives.
This guide explains the difference between storing a file and previewing it directly in your browser.
File storage allows you to upload, organize, and retain files in your TERA account.
File preview allows you to view supported content directly in TERA without downloading it first.
Not every file that can be stored can also be previewed.
Category | File Formats |
|---|---|
Documents | PDF, TXT, DOC, DOCX |
Spreadsheets | XLS, XLSX |
Presentations | PPT, PPTX |
Images | JPEG, JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TIFF |
Video | MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV |
Audio | MP3, WAV, AAC |
Archives | ZIP, RAR |
These are examples of file types identified in TERA's storage documentation. Availability of browser previews varies by format.
TERA's published documentation states that files outside the commonly listed formats can also be stored.
However, unsupported formats may not be available for browser preview.
TERA advertises browser-based preview capabilities for more than 100 file types.
Examples include:
Microsoft Office documents.
PDF files.
Common images.
MP4 and MOV video files.
MP3 and WAV audio files.
Try the following:
Confirm that the upload has completed.
Check that the file is not damaged.
Verify that the format is supported for browser preview.
Refresh the page and try again.
Download the file and open it using compatible software if preview is unavailable.
Preview support can differ from storage support.
Large files may require additional processing time.
A failed preview does not necessarily mean the stored file is damaged.
Use a compatible application if the file cannot be previewed in your browser.
