TERA makes it easy to share documents, images, videos, and folders with other people without sending large email attachments.
You can generate a shareable link and send it to colleagues, clients, or external partners.
A sharing link gives its recipients access to specific content according to the permissions and security settings applied to that link.
TERA supports additional link protection options, including passwords and expiration dates.
Sign in to TERA.
Navigate to the file or folder you want to share.
Open the sharing options for that item.
Choose the shareable-link option.
Review the available access settings.
Apply any appropriate security restrictions.
Create or copy the link.
Send it to the intended recipient.
Before sending a link, consider:
Password Protection: Add a password when the content is confidential or intended for a restricted audience.
Expiration Date: Set an expiration date if access should only be available temporarily.
Access Permissions: Review the available permissions to make sure recipients receive only the access they need.
Folder sharing is useful when recipients need access to a collection of related files.
Before sharing a folder, review its contents to avoid unintentionally exposing unrelated documents.
Review active sharing links regularly.
If a link is no longer needed, use TERA's available link management controls to disable or remove access.
Avoid posting confidential sharing links publicly.
Use passwords for sensitive files.
Set expiration dates for temporary collaboration.
Share only the minimum necessary content.
Review access permissions before distributing a link.
